Last Sunday I drove the first race of the season in Helmond NL. There were about 100 starts from Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. It was a nice race.
On Saturday I drove the first qualification and got the first place with my XRAY XB8. On Sunday the track was wet and my 2nd and 3rd qualification didnâ™t go so well. In the semifinals I started from the 3rd position and won the semifinal. In the final I started on pole position and had a great fight for the first position with Bart Mullink, after a few minutes Wesley van Helmond came really close. The three of us were fighting for the first position. After the first pit stop I was in 3rd position, after a fight with Bart I passed him and finished on the 2nd place. My XRAY was super but we had a little too much grip so I had to be careful for grip roll.
With the electro I came 3rd after the qualification and won the semifinal. In the a-final I finished on a 3rd position but my car was not set-up properly because we didnâ™t had enough time. I drove both classes and 2 finals one after the other and it was difficult. I want to thank my dad for being my mechanic and my sister for the help during the pit stops.
